Life is a mystery and we are the players.

The Franciscan Mystery Players of Morris County, New Jersey, now entering our 24th season, have performed "The Way of the Cross" more than 250 times in 100 different parishes. Our travels have taken us to many of New Jersey's 21 counties and also to the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Our first season was in 1989 with Fr. Francis Pompei as director and 12 high school teens as players. This group has been blessed with a continuing influx of new players, and a large and active adult support staff. Our 2012 group includes 13 teen players and 10 adult advisors from 6 different parishes. More than 100 teens from northern New Jersey have been a part of the Morris County Mystery Play over the past 23 seasons.
We would like to thank all of those who have come to see us over the years and supported us. Your contributions have allowed us to continue all of these years as well as helping to support the addition of other Mystery Play groups throughout the United States.
